invasion [live! @ 11.30]

[ getting produced by Simian mobile disco at toerag studios - where the white stripes cut elephant within a year of starting out - surely means invasion are going to be massive and rightfully so. this is metal meets aretha franklin - pysch stoner rock with soul; astounding stuff! see this week's time out for the hype surrounding them. ]

turbo wolf [live! @ 10.30 ]

[ we love a bi t of metal (secretly) and this group definitely give more than a nod in that direction but with a modern twist: turbowolf fuse the best things of the hard stuff with gonzo electronics. as nme.com said: "None of this pussy footing around electric beats, Turbowolf are electro-RAWK. Riotous, rock-tronic fun and solid tunes to boot". ]

whoremoans djs

[ scenesters extraodinaire playing at all the cool kid parties, like the nme awards show after party, the PPk denim party and countless indie shows. expect party destruction from these girls, with a level of dancing and chaos better than any so-called party djs we've witnessed... ]

mat horne gavin & stacey

[ Mat Horne is an avid fan of decent music and one of the transmission crew was lucky enough to DJ with him on New Years eve, with none other than Get Cape wear cape Fly. since then he has Djed at choice indie gigs across the capital, is starring in a film about lesbian Vampires alongside James Corden and - oh - also won some baftas for Gavin and Stacey, perhaps the best comedy since the League of Gentlemen. he's very fond of nice clothes worn in an indie kid fashion – and is a thoroughly good dj, playing a choice selection of indie old & new and electronic ... ]
